Centro de Gravação
In 2010, Centro de Gravação faced a significant challenge in managing thousands of image files from different clients, each with unique requirements. All of these files had to be stored for future use, yet the only tool available at the time was the standard Windows search function. Locating the right image often required manually browsing through countless folders or using Windows Explorer’s basic file search, a process that was slow, inefficient, and prone to errors.
To solve this, we developed a centralized database system that acted as a unified server, essentially an early version of what today would resemble a cloud solution. The platform stored and categorized all images automatically, making it possible to upload files directly into the system and retrieve them instantly. With a smart search function, users could type in a client’s name and see every related image in milliseconds, complete with preview functionality, rather than opening files one by one.
Security was also a key part of the solution. The system introduced controlled access levels, ensuring that only authorized staff could manage or view specific files. At the time, creating software with these capabilities was a major achievement, given the limited technological resources available.
This innovation transformed how the organization worked with client assets, saving countless hours, reducing errors, and positioning Centro de Gravação years ahead in file management technology.
