ROQ previously relied on an analog device that suffered from frequent communication issues. These failures created significant costs, as clients across the world required on-site technical support. The company needed a new solution that could deliver higher reliability, improved precision, and seamless integration in industrial environments.

We developed a next-generation device for screen printing machine heads, equipped with a real-time operating system (RTOS) to ensure stable and responsive execution. To guarantee reliable communication, the device was designed with full support for the CANOpen protocol, enabling efficient networking between devices in industrial settings.

The new device eliminated the recurring failures of the previous system, drastically reducing downtime and service costs by removing the need for engineers to travel worldwide for repairs. The device proved robust in all environments, supporting ROQ’s international operations with unmatched reliability.

To date, over 7000 units have been produced and deployed worldwide, reinforcing ROQ’s reputation for innovation and operational excellence.
