In partnership with the Vista Alegre, we developed a quality control and testing machine for porcelain dishes.

The challenge was to design equipment capable of simulating real usage conditions, like plates with food being cut by a knife, while ensuring consistency and repeatability.

The solution was an motor-driven system with a knife where both the cutting force (measured in newtons) and the number of cuts could be precisely defined. In addition, we developed dedicated software that allowed operators to set these parameters in advance, guaranteeing that every test followed the same conditions.
